Welcome to the Mustang Public Library
Our mission is to meet the informational and recreational needs of our service area and to support life-long learning.
We look forward to serving you. The staff is dedicated to providing professional, friendly service. There are books, eBooks, downloadable audio books and music, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, music cds, and audio books. The Mustang Library has free wireless Internet access. There are also fourteen public computer stations with Internet access and the 2007 Microsoft Office suite. Library customers may click on Online Resources to access magazine articles and reference books through Ebsco Host. The login in is "mustangpl" and the password is "broncos". Other online resources include Mango Languages (learn a language online), Britannica Encyclopedia, Ancestry Library Edition, Heritage Quest and Alldata, which is an online automobile repair resource. Some of the databases are available for use from home or office and some may only be used in the library. Search our online catalog to view what the library owns and to place holds on anything you would like to check out and read. Customers are also able to manage their accounts online and to renew materials. the login is your librar card number and the pin is your last name in CAPS--up to eight letters.
An attractive, enclosed Children's Library along with programs for young people of all ages are important aspects of our library service. Lap Time Story Times for children ages two and younger are held every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. (The schedule changes during the summer months; so, please check the online calendar) Story times for children ages 3-7 are held each Monday at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
There are also special programs for teens and adults that are held throughout the year. For example, there are free computer classes, guest speakers and cultural events that take place at the library. For more information, click on the Calendar tab.
